William is a Birmingham native and an honors graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he majored in Business Management and Marketing. He is retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama where he had a very successful career in sales and management. He is married to Debbie Cox Steen and together they have lived in the Dunnavant Valley Community for 20 years (located in unincorporated North Shelby County).

William's primary focus is on building relationships with all his clients. He understands relationships must be built on trust and his clients are trusting him to represent their interests. But to build trust, you must be collaborative. You must be able to communicate well, unite, and work together to achieve desired goals. William is accessible and down-to-earth. He is a skilled real estate professional and most importantly a skilled listener. He loves working closely with his clients, understanding their needs, and helping them achieve their desired outcomes.
